Believe

This is a message from a special person. Without any words or without even talking with him I received a message that came to my thoughts thru my heart. Maybe if you were there you would feel it too.

On July 5, 2009, I watched a family piano concert held near the place where I stayed. One student (pianist) moved me so deeply when I saw him walked the center stage accompanied by his mother, the host/presenter and another assisting companion  (perhaps the piano teacher). I continued to watch them assisting the boy to the center stage. Then from afar I realized that he is a boy born with a down's syndrome.

He played a piano rendition of a popular children's music. The music didn't matter to me anymore at that time. I was just so touched with what I saw. With tears in my eyes, I held in my heart an account of what I have witnessed. On that stage, I saw the unconditional love of a mother to his child; the kindness and support of the people that surround him; the patience and compassion of the piano teacher; and the spirit of the boy who is trying to exist and weave his own simple path in this world. When he finished his piano piece, everyone clapped their hands (me included) then, I observed him peeked sideways and showed his appreciation with a smile.

There he is, seated beside his caretaker. I caught him peeking at me. As if he knew I was following him from start to finish. But I don't know him at all, not even his name.  I was just touched with what I saw so, I ended up following him.  I really don't know probably there was an invisible string between us... when he looked at me, I smiled back and said to myself... "Well done my friend. I am proud of you... You made it."

To all out there, I hope I was able to send his message to you. I really felt I am an intercessor here.
Honestly, I felt, I was the happiest person in the world to have witnessed this.
Thank you for reading.

  1. Dear Lynne, That boy was ill but he was really touched by God. Many disabled persons are very talented.

  5. While I read this I understand a lot of things ...
    - The power of God that gives to man the talent to make him a lesson for another
    - Sometimes we see things in the outside make us feel comfortable and say that there is still a good.
    - Love and cooperation turn the impossible into reality in the life..
    - the challenge and to try and insist they are the basis for success in life..
    * Important of all, that man or woman or..., if found true love (family, friends or wife, or ...) can do a lot no matter what the difficulties faced by...

Thanks Eve you shared this great topic.
